Brooklyn snowstorm

My photographer friend Mimi took this of me and Adam in a restaurant in Brooklyn back in January. It's one of those photos I'd normally look at and go "ugh! i look double-chinny! My skin's awful!" etc. but whatever! I really like it. It really seems to capture something real, and lovely.

Meet Allison and Peter
My older bro has been dating Allison for years and years now (maybe seven, all said?) and they recently bought a house that needs lots of TLC. For Christmas they got zillions of Home Depot gift certificates...not exactly my cup of tea, but they were pleased as punch. Aren't they adorable?
magazine rack of my dreams
Happiness is...my magazine obsession! I bought this nifty magazine rack on Craig's List for $60 and love, love, love it. It's enabled me to quasi-organize the 15 magazines I get every month. And doesn't it look so retro-chic?
